HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOCKA SEUSS

Well the Doctor had a Birthday!

Yes, Dr. Seuss would be 113 this year!  And even though we don't have anywhere near that many candles, we still  did a little bit of celebrating.

Actually, if I'm being honest I would admit I kind of dropped the ball.  March totally snuck up on me!

So we were a little late.

Ok, we were a whole week late!

But there's nothing wrong with a belated birthday party right? Just stretching out the love.

Here's a rundown of our party plans:

   - Cat in the Hat hats

   - Who cakes and green eggs and ham

   - coloring 

   - OH the Places You'll Go! walk

   - Dr Seuss book videos

   - Lots and LOTS of reading

TRUMPET OF THE SWAN

We finished another book with Brinlee!  

The Trumpet of the Swan this time.

And wouldn't you know, there was a movie adaptation.  Perfect! Book night movie night!

Here's our proud and happy Louis the swan.

And our lovely Serena the swan.

Oh it is so fun to do this kind of stuff with these two weirdos!

OUR ALMOST KINDERGARTENER

We just got home from the Columbus school district enrollment office where we got 

this goon all signed up for kindergarten!

I'm not sure how I feel about it...

She on the other hand, is very excited! 

August cannot come fast enough for her.

 I can not believe she is getting this big!  We sure do love this smart, not so little anymore, angel girl.

BECAUSE

Because sometimes you just really need to be a cowgirl for breakfast.
Which is perfect, when you're such a dang cute cowgirl!
