A FEW EXTRA POINTS

Looking back through my notes I realize there were a few minor points that were missed or left out of my previous lectures for this new 2017 year.  I feel they are important enough to spend a little time on though.  So, before we move on with new material we are going to back track a bit and briefly touch on them really quickly.

First slide Please.

What the kitchen may look like after several days of rain, rain, rain.
Next slide please.

Here is a good example of what some play time looks like with some new Christmas toys.
Next slide please.

In case you were wondering what this winter's fashion should look like.
Next slide.

Or you could always give this look a try.
Next slide please.

What a rainy day at COSI looks like now that little sissy is big enough for some new activities.
Next slide please.

What cooking with mom looks like.
Next slide.

What helping mom make the bed looks like.
Next slide.

And what hiding from mom looks like.
Next slide please.

What crafting with kids looks like around here.  Please note that the goal with these activities is never to cultivate and encourage a creative mind.  The goal is always to get a few quiet alone-time minutes for mom while containing any messes and preventing any unnecessary clean up.  If both goals cannot be accomplished simultaneously, abandon the educational effort and just put on a movie instead.
Next slide please.

As often as possible, sisters should be dressed to match.
Next slide please.

What 2-year molar teething looks like at 1:30 in the morning.
Next slide please.

What a typical time-out looks like around here.
Next slide please.

What it looks like when your 4-year-old is up, hungry, and ready for the day long before mommy and the 2-year-old are ready to be up.
Yes, this picture was taken in my bed.
Yes, you're looking at the contents of the pantry snack box.
Yes, Netflix was playing on my phone.
Yes, I slept in the other side of that bed for another hour and half until the toddler woke up.
Next slide please.

When the girls go jogging with mommy...
Next slide,

...60 degrees is the minimum required outside temperature.
Next slide.

When the girls go jogging with daddy, any weather will do.  He might be just a little more dedicated.
Next slide.

Yes, screen time is supposed to be a "sometimes treat".  But, sometimes, the definition of "sometimes" is a little looser than at other times.  Sanity comes first, and the "educational" preschool apps are plentiful.  A mama's gotta do what a mama's gotta do!

When you need to strut, mom's boots always do the trick!
Next slide please.

We are loving preschool...
Next slide

...and we're learning lots of fun things....
Next slide please.

...and we're working really hard!
Next slide.

Despite what the faces may say, these girls really are SO glad when daddy comes home!
Next Slide.

Sometimes your day just wears you out.
Next slide.

And it looks something like this.
Next slide please.

This is rare to see, so take a really good look at it.  This is what you get when mom is on the phone, and the 4-year-old asks for something that mom didn't quite catch.  She's busy and talking and can't really clarify, but she also doesn't want any further interruptions, so she makes the huge mistake of just saying yes.
It turns out the 4-year-old had said "Can I mix up an experiment?"
The result: a concoction comprised of old melted cotton candy ice cream, water, bacon bits, Tony's seasoning salt, and regular table salt.

Ok.
Any questions?

Make sure you add this stuff to your previous notes, you will see it on your upcoming exam.

EASY TO PLEASE

Blocks and plastic cups,
for hours and hours...

This gal can be easy to please.

I love that she sticks her little tongue out when she's working hard! So cute!

SELFIES 101

Hello Everyone!
Brinlee here, and today we're going to have a little chat and quick introductory lesson to the art of

Selfie Taking!

It's really not too tough of a thing, and it's really really fun!
Any time I can get a hold of mom's phone it's the first thing I do, and it's never failed to make my day!
Today we're just going to talk about the first principle of good selfie taking, and that is to really snap away with that camera.  You can never take too many, and each one catches a little bit different side of your personality.
Take a look at my last selfie session here.  For this one I focused on a few of my current favorite things (my curly locks, and my CTR ring), and, as always, I did throw in an outfit picture.  But none of that is even necessary. Nothing but your beautiful face is totally fine!  Just be loose, have fun,
and of course,
Snap Away!

Happy Selfie taking!
