And I don't think I'm a total weirdo for saying that. It's long, cold, kind of gloomy, makes running errands way more difficult, and lets not get started on the gang of infectious diseases that tends to lurk around with it. In general, winter is just kind of a rough season.
But it does have a few redeeming qualities -
Christmas,
sweaters,
cute boots,
fireplaces,
hot chocolate,
peaceful quiet snowy days,
and, my personal favorite, little kids in snow clothes!!
Ohio hadn't seen any snow yet when we left for our Christmas vacationing. But it didn't take long for the blanket of white to make an appearance once we got back. And thank goodness it did!
Because honestly, bundled up babies are the best!
